I thought I'd give this a shot in the tech forum....

I have a 2001 CRV and noticed the reverse lights went out. I noticed this because of the "R" in the cluster illuminating. I switch the bulbs and it did not correct the problem.

Then I noticed that I can get the lights on when I maneuver the shift lever at a slight angle. Anyone know what the deal is with this?

there is a connection that plugs in to your tranny i would check to see if it is connected properly of if there is a short somewhere.
