Default Reverse light switch compatability

Hey guys - I have a 2001 jdm type R motor and a cable YS1 transmission from Syncrotech that are waiting to go into my 1993 Integra RS. The original obd1 engine harness was recently sold along with the reverse light switch that threads into the cable trans and I purchased an obd2 tucked harness from rywire.

My question is if I purchase an obd2 Integra reverse light switch from let's say a 2000 Integra- will this thread into my cable transmission and work? The other plug end will plug into the rywire harness for sure. I searched and saw the DA and DC had different part numbers for this part but I am wondering if it's only because the connector end at the harness- I know ys1 cable trans can accept hydraulic internals and such so what do you guys think- Acura discontinued the DA reverse switch but the Dc is still available for like 30 bucks new- thanks

The backup light switches all work the same way. However when I bought a new one from rockauto that was made by Beck Arnley I had to use a single washer to act as a spacer so that the switch would work right. It was only slightly to short to work properly. I tested it with two washers first, then a single one and saw it would work right because of where it was engaging.

Not saying you will have to do this but sometimes it's possible so just gonna throw it out there.
