Default Rev Tuning

sup guys. im in a bit of a bind. im actually not a honda tuner, im a ford guy, more accurately an escort tuner, but i came here because of hondas reputation for high rev limits. i was wondering if anyone could give me any tips that could be transferrable to my application, pretty much a miata 1.8L bp engine. im asking because i just found a stroker kit that would fit into one of our engines. a question came up during the discussion about rev limits, asking whether or not the rev limits would be lower with a stroker kit, and if so, how would we be able to remedy the situation. i know you guys get alot of flak from domestic tuners, but im asking this as a fellow tuner. any help would be appreciated.

Default Re: Rev Tuning (www.FEOA.net)

If the bottom end is good, more often then not rev-limits will be set based on peak hp rpm, and valvetrain.

Upgraded valvetrain is NEVER a bad idea
