Default Rev Problem...PLS Look

So I finally completed my ls vtec swap in my crx. Wired up the obd1 distributor, removed the resistor box, wired the obd1 rc 310 injectors, wired the jumper harness, and plugged in the ecu and have it running good. How ever when I go it red lines at 4k. My rev limiter is set at 9k. I tested the ecu in a 93 hatch and it works fine. Does anyone know what could cause this problem. Please let me know. Thanks.

yes....not sure which ones yet. Other forums people are telling me the ecu went into limp mode. but I dunno how to get it out of it...If it's even possible. I am not to familar with chipped ecu's.

So you managed to put in an LS/VTEC, do distributor and injector resister wiring yet you don't even know how to check codes?

Yes, your ecu is in limp mode, you should know how to check codes. Just search. A chipped ecu is no different as far as codes go than a stock ecu, just different fuel/ign. maps.
