Default rev limiter

Hi,

How can i raise my rev limiter?I have a B16a4 here in turkey and its the only one.All the others are B16a2 and their rev is up to 8500k mine 8200k.
I am the drag race champ (1600cc) here and this year i wanna race with a civic vtec, my old car was a pug 106 gti.

Could you all please help me about this cause i want this honda to be the new champ with me

You need some sort of ECU upgrade....either a new chip or a reprogrammed one.

Make sure you have power up there otherwise raising the limit will do nothing except slow you down.

Do you have the necessary internals such as valve springs, retainers, etc? I would recommend them for a higher rev limit. Valve float is bad.

Exactly what shamoo said, you will probably want to do some cam and valvetrain upgrading before you raise ur rev limit. A stock head isn't going to make any extra power up there and your power drop off really begins from 7600-7800rpm.
JUN3's are crazy but they have had problems shattering. My friends CRVTEC motor with the JUN3's made crazy power from 6000 to about 9000rpm, but the cam shattered and the motor went bye bye.
