rev limit 7500k on first gen b16?

rev limit 7500k on first gen b16?
i have a first gen b16 on a 91 acura integra.
now i chipped my ecu with mugen and the rev limit is still 7500k
and speed governor is still set at 120mph
now i got it chipped again with spoon chip and the rev is still the same
and the speed governor is still at 120mph.
how can i fix this i really want to rev up to 8prm.
anyone help me please.

Sounds like you got screwed twice. =x
is your check engine light on?
and revving to 8000 isnt everything. you gotta make power up there.

you have a automatic ECU probably, but I though once you put a chip in it then it wouldnt have that problem. My friend also has the same problem with only going to 7500 but I cant tell him he has a AUTO ecu cause my better friend sold it to him lol.
