OK, so to do it myself would be quite risky.

If I screw up – see $1000 and 2 months disappear…

So for $10 a piston I can get a machinist to do it.

So, he wants to know if he can use a head as a guide for a cutting bit to recess the valves.

Ie: to sit a bare head on the block and inset a tool through the valve guide and cut the relief that way.

My questions:

are the valve angles the same on the B20 head as the B16 head?

is this a method that is commonly used to resize reliefs?
