Default reprogramming your ecu?

does anyone know of anyone who can reprogram your ecu for the enhancements of the car? i am not looking to "chip" my ecu, but have it reprogrammed for better performance for the changes that i have made. the "chip" would not do the same thing. i have heard that there are people who can reprogram your ecu if you give them a list of mods that you have done with your car and get better efficiency and more performance out of it. anyone know of any sites or people who do that?
thanks.

"chip" is a loose term for either reprogramming or adding another chip to the ECU.

Hook up with Katman for options.

your best off just buying a programmable ecu.. i dont know of anybody just doing chips for odb-2, but you might be able to score some for odb-1/0.. if your making any kind of power and want reliability though standalone is your best bet.. im assuming you have a crx so id check out http://www.hondata.com and http://www.zdyne.com 'bout the same price as a fmu/afc

I had vtec4gs on the board chip my 94 GSR with a JUN program, the car now screams. I am very very happy... the price was right too.... and it is a 'permanent' change so I do not have to worry about losing any time-invested as if a VAFC went freaky and lost every bit o' tuning you had done.

I highly recommend gettign your ECU chipped/reprogrammed.
katman
vtec4gs
and a lot of others on the board can help you out depending on what motor /ecu you have to work with or what new ecu you are willing to run.
