So my ring gear took a face dive into the case after the LSD bearing went so most of the teeth are chiped, there for i need a new ring gear. Now my question is do i have to replace the pinion also with a new one? Will they mesh together eventho ring gear will be new and pinion will be used with no damage on it?
Heard it was different for FWD cars and dont have to replace the pinion, please comment on this, thanks
