Default Replacing piston rings.

How hard is this to do? Do you guys know any sites that show this processes being down? I'm getting alot of blow-by when I take off my oil cap, I'm guessing this is the reason why. Also I seem to be burning oil too, would this also be the reason?

Not something I recommend doing yourself, unless you're really familar with what's necessary to finish the job properly.

Once you take the head off, you need to measure piston to cylinder wall clearances, and check the bore for vertical scratches. If your piston to cylinder wall clearance is out of spec, then plan on removing the entire motor and sending it to the machine shop with new pistons that are oversized.

Air blowing in and out of the oil cap is normal. If you are going to rebuild an engine, get a factory service manual.
