Default replacing my struts! ran into a problem i need help asap!

the front struts wentfine but when i went to attempt the back struts the screws are extremely hard to take off... is there any thing that we can use? any more force and it will strip the screw. this is at the screw at the bottom of the strut and if it helps this is off a 91 civic

Do a search on LCA bolts.

If you're bolts are seized, you're prob gonna have to cut them out.

If its not the LCA bolts, then use some PB blaster on the bolts.

<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by arrowed &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">the front struts wentfine but when i went to attempt the back struts the screws are extremely hard to take off... is there any thing that we can use? any more force and it will strip the screw. this is at the screw at the bottom of the strut and if it helps this is off a 91 civic</TD></TR></TABLE>

There bolts not screws , anyways you need to get a big pry bar on there, also blast them with pb blaster. Really no special trick besides muscles or air

If the bolts are seized in the bushing, you will have to cut the ends off to get the shock out. Then you will have to take the control arm off, push out the old bushing with a press and press a new one in. The bushings are like 25 bux. Gl
