Found out today that my ignitor is shot(had a show diagnose it), i just want to know how hard and expencive it would be to replace it myself. The rotor is on there pritty damn solid, so i would prob end up having to break it off to get at it. I am also doing a y8 motor swap in about 2 weeks that would require my d15 dizzy. SO the shop wants 300 for a used dizzy install, blaa blaa blaa. or DO i try and buy an ignitor from a junkyard and fix it myself. The busted dizzy is off a d15b7, Thanks fellas, the help is much apreashieted, <- feal free to laugh at the **** poor spelling

 

yes you can do it yourself, its easy and self explanatory

 

They sold in stores or do i need to get it from a junkyard

 

where are you located? i think i might have one around. i'm in jersey. if i can find it you can have it for 50.00 bucks. it's brand new from honda still in the bubble wrap. normally goes for 97.00 bucks.

On some models, the OEM igniter is closer to $200. Email me if you need one. I have the more expensive igniters for $70.
