Default Replaced intake temperature sensor, and still throwing a code?!

Just like the post says, I'm throwing code ten, and I've replaced the sensor with the one off my old D16Z6 intake manifold. When I took out the old sensor, it was broken, and the actual sensor part was missing... (I think it got sucked into the motor of my friend's car when we had my manifold on it) Anyways, I replaced the sensor, plugged it back in, and still throwing the code... Whats the deal?

Did you clear the code? If you cleared the code, and it is coming back, you either have a wiring problem between the sensor and the ECU, or a faulty ECU.

Pull the PGM-FI fuse in the underhood fuse box. Clear the ECU code, and also verify the wiring is hooked up properly.

That should clear that code.

yeah I cleared the code, I checked the fuses today with a test light... I will check it again tomorrow, and reset again. I don't know how the wiring could be wrong, I never touched it during the swap, and it is the original Obd1 wiring from my SOHC motor... Could be the ECU I guess.
