Default Remving AC on 94 gsr?

hey has anyone tried removing their AC belt and felt any increase in HP? i heard that you can gain about 5 with the power steering belt off soooooo...

When the ac is off, the belt just freewheels. It is just turning the pulley and the idler. In theory it could use a tiny fraction of a hp and adds a little additional rotating mass from spinning the pulleys and belt, but it would take a really accurate dyno to measure. Plus that belt goes around a mount, so to properly remove the belt, you have to remove the mount too. Unless you plan on removing the whole system for weight savings, don't bother.
