Default Removing Tranny on b16a2 HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have a b16a2 JDM that is out of the car. I have it on an engine hoist. I'm having a bitch of time getting the damn tranny off. I removed all the bolts, but the damn thing won't come off. I have to be missing something somewhere, I need to know if there is something I'm missing. I need a quick run down if somebody would please help. It would be greatly appreciated. Please help thanks.

Steve

its easy to miss the bottom bolts and the starter bolt.

check all around.

make sure the starter is off.

also there is on going from the block into the trani.

then tap it with a hammer. on my D series i had to basically pry it off it was stuck on good!

Yeah, it's easy to forget the starter bolt.

If your sure you got all the bolts and it wont come off take a small chisel and tap around it. I just got done removing mine with the engine already out, not too fun.

if it's not coming apart you have missed a bolt!

make sure LONG starter bolt is out....then under intake manifold is a 17 mm and front of engine kinda hidden by the header is another 17 mm

Thanks for the quick reply. I found the damn bolt and it was the starter, what a kick in the ***. I wasted a lot of time for something that simple, but I guess you will have that. Thanks again for all the responses.
