Removing Tint???????????? How do I get the glue off?
i was about to use glue gone, but if you say 3m is the way to go, then I'll get that. thanks for the help.
sure. if youre talkin about Goo Gone (you said glue gone), then that stuff totally sucks compared to 3M adhesive remover. youll see.
there is this stuff called "afta" that you can buy at staples or office depot. it is made by the goof off company but is designed for removing only glue and sticky crap. i use it every day at work. (just dont sniff that **** to long cuz you'll start to feel like you drunk)

3M adhesive remover is the best stuff on earth!!!!!!!!!! get the big spray can
You don't need 3M adhesive remover. There is a much cheaper alternative.
This is a very messy job, so be prepared to protect your interior properly if necessary. Also, have a rag towel and a roll of paper towels ready to wipe up the mess. Do this outisde because the fumes are pungent, not mention noxious. Wear gloves too.
1. Use Windex with Amonia, or create your own mix of a few drops of dishwashing fluid, amonia and water. Make sure the mixture is more water than amonia.
2. Spray the adhesive generously with the mixture or Windex. Let it sit for a few seconds.
3. Take a new razor blade and scrape the goo off. It should come off relatively easily.
That's it.

I just did this and got a tip from tint shop.
After you spray on this mixture, take a garbage bag and tear it in half so it is just single layer. Stick the bag over the wet window. The spray will stick it to the window, this will keep the ammonia from evaporating as fast and let it work into the glue.

sorry guys... yeah that is a cheaper alternative, and it works well, too. but 3m adhesive remover is sooooo much easier, safer, and quicker. guess im just lazy..........
Use soapy water all over the back window, then place a big black trash bag over it.
(flaten it all out like you were gona use the trash bag as tint) Let it bake an hour or two in the sun, and then use your blade to scrape a corner and start pealing it back slowly. The glue and all should come right off with the tint.
