Default removing power steering link.

so many people have asked me how i remove my power steering and still retain the same steering ratio. the answer is that i modify the stock power steering rack. no one wants to install a civic rack into their type R just to have a manual rack but suddenly you loose the nice ratios found in power steering racks! i have laid out instruction (sorry no pix) here for everyone to do this slightly complicated yet simple modification:

would doing all that really be necessary? why not just remove the pump and fit the two hose ends together?
or... how hard would it be to install the power steering pump from an s2000... it's electric... theoretically, you could just fix up a toggle switch and turn your power steering on and off whenever you wanted. hummmm wonder how hard/expensive that would be.
