Release fork loose?
First of all thanks for any help on this frustrating matter. I have been working on a 94 Prelude for a few hours now changing the clutch. I get everything on and go to check the feel of the clutch, and it starts making a clicking sound about 3/4 of the travel. So it looked like the release fork was loose. Removed the tranny set the fork and this time was a little more carefull to not hit release fork duruing installation. But it started making the clicking noise again, and it seems like the fork is loose, again.
So, I was wondering if its possible that the release fork could have popped out of its pivot ball just from force of installing tranny on motor.

i had a similiar problem with mine but mine just would not engage or was actually stuck ingaged but also on mine the release fork was wabblie and loose almost i put the transmission back on twice and then i reolized i had the spring clip that holds the release for upside down and did not have the end hook through the fork that might be it make sure the spring is in right
**Update**
Found out what the clicking noise, something so simple just over looked. We needed to adjust the clutch pedal height, because of new clutch...duhh. After adjustments everything is cool, ready for break in.
