Default release bearing shaft

I am trying to sell a 91 honda crx si. I just replaced the clutch because it had been slipping. When I pulled out the tranny one of the release bearing tabs were broken and best I could tell is that it would sometimes get hung up and not back off all the way. After replacing the clutch and bearings I got a rattle which I can only assume is the release bearing rattling on a worn down shaft. When I lift up on the release arm it goes away and if I tighten up the cable so there isn't any slack it goes away. How long do you think this could last without any play? Could I find a bearing with a slightly smaller inner diameter? Any suggestions are appreciated.
