Default Recommended cam gear settings

It's for a B20 stock block non-vtec with crower 404's, comptech header, test pipe and 2.25" exhaust and 8k redline.

This set up will be used mostly for the streets with some drag racing so i'm not looking for the highest peak power. I want good midrange power but of course, i wanna be able to make power up to 8k too. I know i should take it to the dyno to test and tune but this will come in a few months only. I just wanna do some test so i'll get an idea of what i should trying when i'll go on the dyno.

I know every engines is different but is there a setting that will always work? Let me know.

thanks.

First of all I'd ditch that 2.25 exhaust for a 2.5 inch b-pipe and cat.

Second, do you have any fuel management?

Just wait untill you have money for a dyno. You'd probably lose power if you adjust the cams by yourself.

I'll be running a chiped PR4 ecu. I don't have any hondata or any aftermarket ecu's or AFC and won't have one.

The only fuel upgrades i did is an FPR and a fuel pump 255lph. Btw, i'm not looking for the ultimate machine here, i know i could have more with a bigger exhaust, bigger cat, bigger header but i have to work with what i have. I'm sure there's something i can work out.

Any other suggestions?

I'd get a SAFC.

I've been told i should get one, but not necessary tho. Would help my car to idle and tune the fuel curve of course.
