ok on the f22b dohc jdm, need help on what needs to be replaced if engine only has 47k miles.
Its used i know i need to replaced the timing belt, timing belt tensioner, shaft tension belt and shaft tension tensioner pulley. water pump.
Im also replacing valve cover gasket and injector seals and oil pan gasket cuz the engine has been sitting their. But is it recommended to replace the oil pump, i noticed that i do need to basically tear apart the front of the engine just to place an oil pump.

Like i have replaced an oil pump before but that was on my old jetta which was just remove the oil pan and 3 screws.

If your doing all that already, Id say you might as well replace the oil pump while your at it.

47,000 is not a lot of miles, but if you got the money to sling a new oil pump, go ahead, I myself would clearance it and make sure it is within specs because I'm on a budget, and replace it only if I needed to.

Take a feeler gauge and measure housing to rotor axial clearance, housing to outer rotor radial clearance, and the inner to outer rotor radial clearance.

If you need a bigger feeler gauge than a .009, chuck the pump...
