I want to rebuild a tranny with the ATS 3-4-5 and final drive gearsets, but the money I have to do this is basically going to run pretty close to the wire. I am just wondering if I can get a tranny that was "blown up" or has bad synchros and use that? If so what tranny's can I use? I was thinking some sort of B16 hydro tranny would work, just as long as the input shaft wasnt damaged. What do you guys think, is this a good idea, and possible?
