Default Rebuilding engine. Nitrous Oxide help??

Since I am rebuilding the engine, I've decided that I want to run some nitrous oxide, just enough to squeeze on the track and to keep it safe.

So what all needs to be prepped and looked at before I begin to squeeze.

My engine is a B18C1 GSR.

As dumb as this might sound I wanted to hook it up to something smaller than a 10 lb bottle, do they exist?

NOS bottle sizes range from 10oz, 1lbs., 2lbs., 2.5lbs., 5lbs., 10lbs., 15lbs., and 20lbs.

I don't like bringing it up and I'm sorry I had to but if you watch F&F the 10oz sneaker shots are in the "10 sec" seven.

if you want to squeeze make sure to have nitrous/turbo pistons. stock cast pistons have the habit of melting in response to burning nitrous. most importantly back the system up with fuel.

Is it true that the amount should be 50% of your hp rating? The GSR makes 170 HP not WHP of course.

I think a 50 shot will be more than fine with the GSR you think?

Also is there a bottle smaller than those 10lb ones? Where can you get them, cant find on net or NOS website.... yeah I was thinking someone might mention the F&F but oh well

Also what company or kind of pistons are good to run... lower compression ones??

look up also the 40-60 shot kit from NOS (part #05122) is most likely what everyone gets. NOS also has the intake plate for GSR's which make installation easy and clean.
