Default Rebuilding an Alternator?

I can hear the bearing going bad on my D-series alternator. has anyone every rebuilt an alternator because of a bad bearing?

Yup....costs about 7 bux....you just need the bearings....but you also need acces to a press so you can press in the bearings....most shops dont charge much for that though

the bearings cost you $7 dollars? thats pretty cheap did you replace both bearings or just the one closest to the pully?

Both....go to an auto electric place...not autozone or that ****...the bearings are a dime a dozen...and they can press em in for a couple bux....honestly i dont see it costing more than 25 bux
