Default rear strut bar...do they work???

I have a 91 crx hf and just purchased a rear strut bar from ebay(where else ) I was wondering if they have much of an effect on handling. I was just curious of the experiences others may have had with them?

I have one on my 2000 Si and I can't really say one way or another if they work because I didn't really work the car around corners before puting it on. I've heard if you have plus sized wheels/tires they help better. Don't know if that's true or not. I also have the Rear Upper to complement it.

I do really like to look under the car and see a blue bar sparkling at me! That's another benefit I guess.

im not sure if strut bars help handling but i know its to help keep the frame stiffer.

wouldn't a stiffer body help handling. Otherwise what good is a strut bar.

Why dont you have someone sit in the back of your car and hold the top of each strut while you drive?

stiffens body from chassis flex under hard turns/cornering. like Loco said, the front is more noticeable.

extra person in the back = slower time around the track, and its illegal to have someone in the back during a road corse. that someone is also not strong enough to keep the body/frame from flexing compared to a steel/carbon graphite, carbon fiber...... strut bar.

Okay a little off but how about this. Is it worth the upgrade for the front strut bar in the 01 GSR????? Or I should keep the factory one?? How much difference from upgradin it to an aftermarket one??? Is it WORTH IT???? If its a lot of a difference and worth it then which brands??? Neuspeed???? I don't want to buy an expensive damn strut bar. Daily driven thanks.
