....ok well I just reset the ecu and now its not throwing a code at all!?!?

Thats weird for a ecu to throw a code not even labeled in the engine code book?

well if its not throwing a code you have nothing to worry about. you probably just cant count and it was a different code

How long is it between the long and short blinks? Could it be two seperate codes?

I was just going to say that - Code 10 and Code 8 maybe?

Code 8 - Crankshaft sensor
Code 10 - Intake Air temp. sensor

I thought code 8 was for the TDC sensor.

your timing might be off, check that and go from there

exactly what TeStUdO said your timing might be off, check it correct it and make sure you are clearing your ecu memory correctly by removing the fuse for over ten seconds or unplug your battery for over a half hour then it should clear. if it keeps coming up then you have a problem. also make sure you are reading the blinks right. i don't want you to get offended when i say that but trust me it gets confusing real easily. good luck gloria

no, the timing cant be off, I had a local shop do it with a timing gun. But incase they did it wrong, would this be the direct cause? Also, it is the right code for sure...lol........Thanks though
