REALLY NEED HELP with wiring ( CR-VTEC )!!!!!!!
I have done a search for the whold day looking for the post which B18C5-EH2 explained using the stock Si harness and chipped-P28 ECU . where nothing is to be re-wired but certain parts off the Si have to be used back ( such as injectors , etc ) .
Or can anyone help .
Here is what i plan to do :-
CR-VTEC swap ( built )
B16 head
into a 93 Civic hatch
Is the Si harness - P28 combo compatable with the setup ?
I would like to run th Si harness with a rechipped P28 , what needs to be done in order to have thing running smooth ?
What harness do you guys reccommend ?
What needs to re-pinned
What parts need to be sourced ( injectors , VTEC oil unit {what ever that is } , etc ) ?
I am in dear need of your help .....
Also if i buy a Skunk2 manifold do i have to attach the following :-
Exhaust Gas Recirculation Valve , the Intake Air temperature (IAT) sensor , Fast Idle Valve , Idle Air Control (IAC) valve ?
How and where did you mount these ?
Or do I mount them at all ?
Or can anyone help .

If you use a stock sohc wire harness, you may have to elongagte some of the wires, but its mostly all good, as long as you use a chipped ecu. It will be a plug and play affair, no wires to repin. The harness I recommend is the del sol b16 engine harness. Its the one that is for your car with a b16, and will plug in at the strut tower.
Use everything you get with the stock intake manifold. You will have to swap over a few components. Egr's are only on a few different Honda engine's, neither of which is a si or b16. You can mount the other parts the same way they come off the stock one.

Thanks for your help ........ Is it necessary to attach all these components to the Manifold ? or can i mount them on the chassis and run vacuum lines ?
Does anyone have any comments on this post ? I would like other opinions on the wiring

come on ! i know many of you here have B20/VTEC swaps or many of you guys have swaps and are running chipped ECUs and have re-wired nothing . So i would just like for you guys to share ......

dude...everything should plug right in. all you really need is to hook up the vtec and vtec oil sensor. if you have a 92 - 95 civic that's about all that you really need. IMO it's alot easier than riping out your whole wiring harness. and with a rechipped ecu, make sure you also have a FPR due to the fact that not every chip is the same, meaning that even with a rechipped ecu...your motor may still not be getting enough fuel making it bog and stuff.
oh, and one more thing, if you get a ODB2 head, don't worry about all that stuff cause you won't even be using it. just plug in all the plugs that your vehicle has and don't worry about all the extra plugs and stuff on the ODB2.
