Default to re-tune or not?

Well i am having my jun retainers swaped out with crower chromoly ones because i destroyed one on the jun retainers, and i would like more reliablity and less wear and tear.
i was wondering after this is done along with a head gasket valve job ect was done how much different it will run then it did before.
i am being told it will run way different buy sum and other say as long as they dont move the cam gears and put back in the same place it should be good.

So i want to know if i need ot go have it re-tuned or will it perform close to the same until i add a few more things i wanted to add before hitting the rollers again.

also the motor is a usdm b18c5
with jun type 2 valve train, tunned on hondata ect..
