Default re sealing of tap on head questions...

i have a quick questions for you tech's out there.

is it possible to still be able to use a b series head that is tapped for ls vtec or what ever if you wanted to put it on a gsr or b16 block? obiously you would have to close where the head was tapped correct? ?? or can you only use that head for hybrid swaps such as another b20 vtec or ls vtec?
