Default RB26DETT in supra

ok i kno this swap has been done in a couple supras already...just how practical is it? are there really any major gains with this setup? the 2JZGTE is already an amazing platform to work with but how much would a supra benefit with a skyline engine? wat are the potential benefits of this swap? i've heard the 2JZ produces more tq over the RB26DETT. wat about the hp figures? anybody?

how about a skyline with a supra motor? Supra motors are supposed to be stronger with more potential. Skyline is soo popular because its a real good all around car.......as so I heard

The internal of RB26 is alot stronger than Supra engine, Nissan build GTR are for race use.

Bom Skylines launch biased rwd and thats why there so cool traction control. We have 750 hp Supra at my job all the time and we launch them fast but they just dont move off like the Skyline and all you do if you want rwd is pull the fuse on the traction and it deactivates the 4wd, A dude from Thialand who owns one told me thats how they play they turn it off and off by switching the fuse. Its crazy in Bangkok for Skylines. They race them all over town at least thats what he said his engrish wasnt so good.

If you put a Supra and AWD Skyline with similar power to weight ratios together, and if the Supra gets hooked up well, it should beat the skyline out of the box.

Anyways...I've read a lot of debates between owners of these cars.. Stick with the 2JZ.

The Skyline will always hook up better thats why they are usually faster. 4wd launches better till they break.
