i have a 89 si d16z6 greddy turbo with zdyne gold. i bought the car with a screwed up tranny and some kind of electrical short. i am trying to figure out the short and when the car shorts out it like almost completly dies. i mean it colmpletly cuts out and you can hear the air fuel gauge short out and the light on it fluctuates rapidly wen you hear the sound.
so...
i find the o2 sensor and it has 3 wires coming out of it. two white and a black. wen i disconnected them 1 white wire was grounded, the 2nd white wire headed toward the passenger side compartment and was spliced into a wire in the harness going to the ecu, the black wire goes to the drivers side and i cant track it anymore but i think it might goto the gauge.
so..
i drove the car after i unhooked all of these wires. the ran the same and still shorted out. plus the air fuel gauge does not move and stays at full rich and lights up the last green only. any clue on where these wires might go?

how in the **** does this short out the whole car? the only cels i have are iacv and iat.
