for some reason my passenger rear has a weird rattle, and i had someone drive the car and i would listen in the back...well the noise is coming from where the shock would be...

when you turn the wheel quick left and right, it would rattle when you turn the wheel right...i took out the shock/spring setup today and though maybe it was on crooked, so i readjusted the placement, reinstalled it, and it still does it...the rattling is very loud...

anyone have any clues why it is doing this?

Mine has a noise like that, but when you turn left. It is the exhaust rubbing on things. I don't care because I'm getting a new one, but check for clearance everywhere around the exhaust back there, it can move a suprising amount.

 

its not the exhaust...

 

perhaps its the upper spring/strut mount. i know i dont have a rex, but my car has a broken upper mounting piece and it rattles like crazy
