Bay Area....Skunk 2...Nope.....unless he mistakes it for OEM.

Are the Random tech cats, racing cats? If so, Nope.
Magnaflow makes a good high flow cat.

if it says 50 state then yes.....just make sure the car is hot when you get to the smog.......
Edit: Let me know if they say anything about the intake!! It almost looks stock.

Random cats are 50 state legal. They'll do their part, but you've got some other factors in there as well. Just go in with the engine really warm so the cat can do it's thing. I passed emmissions in Mass with a Random, Skunk manifold, 12:1 CR and more engine stuff than I can list here. I had it done at the dealer!
Give it a go.

In cali, all OBDII equipped cars must not change their cat as it is deemed illegal. Basically there are no legal cats for OBDII aside from stock. I highly doubt that when you go get your car smogged that the tester will check for that. I don't know how it will be with the sniffer but i can't see why it wouldn't pass that.

Hmmm. What happens if your cat gets destroyed in an accidenet??? In Mass, you're not allowed to change the cat until over 50k or 60k miles (forgot which). You're right that the spotter will never check & rely on the sniff test wich, for my money, is the only thing they should check anyway!
