Default RADIATOR QUESTION NEED HELP!!

I just drained my radiator fluid last night. All I did was drain it from the drain bolt. I didnt bleed it because there isn't a bleeder valve on the 99 si b16 motor. So, today i squeezed the hoses for like an hour with the cap off to release any air bubbles that could have been in there. Still, I have no radiator fan and my car overheats in 5 minutes when driving. What could the problem be and how can i fix it??

Do you mean your rad fan does not kick on at all ? Or you just don't have one ? If it don't kick on its either a fuse or the sensor. Or your fan could be bad, but I would put my money on the sensor or fuse first.

Ok so then its a wiring issue some where, more the likely its the sensor for the fan.

Is the fan my only problem? Shouldn't the engine temp be able to stay down for a little more than 5 minutes without the radiator fan?

Maybe your water pump is not working, or you have a clog some where.

Sounds like you might have a bad fan switch, but that's not the only problem...

When you say it overheats while 'driving', are you stuck in traffic, or driving at 40mph or more? If you're actually moving the whole time, you don't even need the fan. Driving at 30 or 40 pushes more air thru the radiator than the fan, anyway.

If it overheats while you're actually driving 40 or more, then it's a bad thermostat, radiator, waterpump, or something UNRELATED to the fan.
