Last year o noticed that my radiator fan never turned on,so i rigged a little switch so i can turn it on whenever i want.My qrestion is will this affect my motor or cause problems?I dont leave it on all the time only when i am at the race track.I have noticed it never over heats and the temp gauge is a little lower then normal.

is your thermostat opening?

 

Yea its opening and functions like normal.

 

is your fan switch good? check the resistance when cold.

 

just curions what kind of front end do you have? But it sould be ok, mine was.

 

Yea the fan switch i made works,but i think its the fan relay thats busted and i dont know where to get a new one at.I got a stock civic front end.
