For just a radar/laser dectector i would recommend Bel Tronics.... My dad has had them forever now and they've seem to always work well.... Over the past few months we've come to realise that if you are hit by laser the cops pretty much have you and that's not what we want.... I was with my dad awhile back right when laser started getting popular and a cop hit us when we were speeding from about a mile out... We got the hit but I'm pretty sure he couldn't tell what exactly he hit since we were so far out.... We just got lucky... We've been recently looking into radar/laser jammers and my dad has found several pretty good reviews online... I guess they say that the window mount radar/laser jammers/scramblers are not really affective.... I guess cops aim laser at either your front license plate or your headlights in order to get a good reflection back... Having the window mounted jammers or scramblers doesn't neccassarily get the beam... We've found a couple front mount IR laser senders which you mount in your front grill... When a laser signal is detected it emits a beam or scrambled IR which jams up the cops laser guns.... I'll get the link from my dad and post it up on here if you want to check into them.... My dad is prolly goin to be gettin one so i'll let you know how they work just as soon as he does.... I'm pretty sure they range from $300-600... Latez

I picked up one of Cobra's cheapo for around $100.00, after getting my second ticket. After looking around, I could not see dropping $400.00+...

I just wanted something to let me know they were around. Sooo, knowing which direction, ect... did not appeal to me all that much. However, it's payed for it's self several times now... hehehe

I have gotton some dirty looks from "them", but they have never pulled me over "yet". I think it's one of those conditions, that you better not get pulled over and let them see it tho...
