rack and pinion ?

just replaced it ...
but i get no power steering?
what happend during the process?
all lines are attached and power fluid is all tip top
anything else i was suppost to do?

cause both boots were torn and slinging grease all over the place

You had power assist before you changed it. Did you turn it from lock to lock several times to bleed the air?
