Default quick question: oil splash guard needed??

i'm having the shop install my block and they said that i'm missing one of them, or is there 2 of them? is it neccessary to put them in? this is for a h22 block . thanks

WTF are you talking about? The underbody plastic? Or something like your clutch cover? I've never heard of an oil splash guard. Did they say your muffler bearings are bad, too?

yes, you definitely need that, it helps control oil in the pan, and keep it from whipping back up onto the crankshaft...I think it is called a windage tray...make sure you have them install one
