Default Quick o2 Question!!

I'm ordering a 4-wire o2 from nopi. Thye have many universal 4-wire o2's but they are all different in price. The cheapest is $40 and the one for the b16 del sol is $65. I am putting a jdm b16 in a 92 vx and I thought any 4-wire o2 will work so just get the cheap one since I have to next day air it?? Thanks

I would be very wary of aftermarket O2 sensors- many of them have too low of a resistance on the heater and can damage your ECU. Just about any Honda 4 wire O2 sensor should work. Denso makes the O2 sensors for Honda- if you can find them elsewhere let us know.

I ordered one from http://www.oxygensensors.com It was $65 shipped. I can't comment on the quality or effectiveness as I haven't received it yet. I wouldn't worry about the overnight thing, I've been running on my 5wire and throwing a code for about 2 weeks now. It runs ok but the gas mileage is horrible.

Really? As long as I can get it home and make sure everything on the car (axles, tranny, engine) is in good working order I guess I could scrape by using the 5 wire and throwing a code. I can get the o2 from Evans Honda in Tenn. for $38 shipped ground so I may just wait on it and save $20. VTEC won't work though right or is it not in limp mode with the o2 code? Thanks

I would not even plug in the 5wire- it works COMPLETELY different from a 4 wire- you may possibly damage your ECU. The 5 wire will do nothing for your 4 wire ECU at all.

$38 shipped from Honda- WTF? They selling aftermarket? If they have had success with these $38 sensors I say go with it.

No $38 shipped for a used one with plug from Evans Honda Slavage. I'm not paying $120 for a o2, i've paid enough for this swap
