Quick Muffler question

When I replace my muffler, is there a gasket I need? And if so, can I reuse it, or should I buy a new one? I have never replaced a muffler so I do not know

all you do is weld it on there is no gasket needed.

No, it is the rear muffler section. There is a gasket, so I got my answer Thanks
