quick MC question
I searched but couldn't find...
If all or most of the fluid has drained out of my master cylinder because I swapped the rear drums for discs will I have to do anything special, like bench bleed the MC or will I just bleed the whole system like normal?
Thanks in advance because I'm in a pinch without knowing...

ok, ur gonna want to a- not get any brake fluid on ur paint cause its a paint thinner, b- yes bench bleed it if u can, (basically just fill it with fluid) c. on the car, be carefull not to drop the little washer on teh booster when u re-install it, and some mc's have a bleeder valve on their body, otherwise just bleed ur brakes VERY thoroughly!!! like do it so it seems like uve cycled fluid completely a few times through the system! then test ur brakes- should be very firm! if not, bleed again. my shop manual for bleeding is at home in cali otherwise id have more specific info on bench bleeding! sorry bout that, hope this helps!

so, is it absolutely necessary to bench-bleed it, or just more efficient? I'd really rather not take it off the car if I don't have to...will it work to just bleed it ALOT, like infinite mentioned?
