Default Quick Advice Please: Cold Start Issue

Hey guys, I'm looking at a CRVTEC tomorrow (b20b/b18c1) and the seller said that you need to keep the RPM's around ~1500 on cold starts to keep it from stalling.

I know on other platforms you can raise the RPM on cold start (via tuning) but that isn't to keep it from stalling.

Any idea why you'd have to do this? Just want to make sure I'm not buying a headache..

THANK YOU!

I'm under the impression it has something to do with the IAC.

Do people delete those on these cars?
