QUESTIONS on LS/VTEC

after installing a ls/vtec in a 90crx(obd0) stock cams, timing, (everything stock)without chipping the ecu, should it run smooth, or like ****?

it should run like stock. smooth.

can the knock sensor or o2 sensor make it studer and feel very slugish and weak (im just breaking in the motor)?

What ECU are you running? Do you have an FPR? or Fuel pressure guage if so what is the fuel pressure at?

im running a pr3 obd0, i have a b&m fpr- 54psi, i cant controll it, i think i got to upgrade it, to much pressure (fpr), i dont think the spring can handle it, i have a holley 195 fuel pump?

either aem regulator with the holley, or stock pump and stock reg.
