I am gettting ready to build up my 95 gsr swap i am wondering if i put a ls crank and ls rods in the motor what pistons would be best to use so the compression ratio is not to high i was going to use ctr,s but after researching i think the compression is to high that leaves either itrs or p30 any info would be greatly appreciated thanks

i think running the p30 b16a pistons will do just fine on street...gives good compression almost the same as itr...

 

ok what if i want an oversized piston also what compression do you think the motoro will yeild with p30's versus the itr's thanks for the info and advice

 

p30's or pr3's will give more compression than by using p73 pistons

 

ok found out gsr with ls crank and rods and gsr head with jdm itr's looking at 11.68:1 compression with pr3's 11.69:1 and p30's 11.92:1 ok with that in mind i am using stock ls rods but thinking about getting them shot peened and using arp rod bolts what is a safe compression ratio for the stock rods strength wise???? any other info would be greatly appreciated thanks
