Default Question: What Cams To Go With???

Hey People,

I gotta question I hope someone can answer for me, b/c Im lost on what Cams to pick for my motor. The motor is a fully built LS/Vtec and all I waiting on is Cams so I can do springs and retainers. The motor has 9:0:1 compression and will be boosted so I need a fairly mild cam. My best friend was saying something about getting GSR cams and using them but I need help deciding. So anybody that has a nice cam set-up and is boosting a good deal of boost let me know what your using please .

Thanks

What about Type R's? I know Comp Cams makes almost a mirror copy of the Type R's, but there more aggressive then the GSR's. There many choices to pick from and thats whats making it so hard.

Thanks for your guys help so far

I would say GSR, and you can probably pick some up that are pretty cheap w/ all the people swapping the GSR cams for ITR cams.

You want high lift, low duration cams. So unless you want to spend cash for Crower turbo cams, get a pair of GSR cams.

I'll get pics in 3 weeks when the engine comes out.

They are off 1997 - have about 90K on them, so I don't know what condition they are in yet. I'll let you know!
