Default Question regarding brake booster/MC

I just replaces the brake booster and master cylinder on an 88 CRX Si and now I am having a problem. When the car is off, there is pressure in the brakes, however, when i turn on the car, there is no pressure at all. It doesnt matter how many times i pump the brakes. Is this normal? I know I still need to bleed the brakes, but I would still think there would be pressure in the pedal. I checked all the vaccum hoses and they seem fine. Any thoughts? Or am I just being paranoid (as I usually am) and just need to bleed the brakes.

I think you should worry about that if the problem persists after you bleed your brakes.

i have the EXACT same problem.

here is the deal...i had squishy brakes for a long time, but they worked. bled the system...start the car the pedal would go straight to the floor. car off it would have pressure if you pumped it. went through troubleshooting in the helms and everything checked out. we proceeded to bleed the brakes countless times...still the same thing. i went out and replaced the master cylinder in hopes that would solve it....bench bled it and installed it....stilll getting the same thing...we bleed each brake twice then move to the next brake, the first pump always has a little squirt of bubbles, the second time doesnt. i swear ive flushed about 4 bottles of fluid thorugh the brakes.

could this be a bad booster!? please, please help us!! hehe
