Can someone tell me about water pumps. I got a new engine and I was wondering if I should go ahead and swap out the old one with a type-r pump or go with a meziere pump. Any comments appreciated.

 

there are nothing really special...its a b!tch to change it once the engine is in..but if its already out it would not hurt to change it. Dont buy an integra one..you will pay the Acura markup if you do...the SI one from honda is the same unit..but cheaper. ABout the electric pump thing....I am considering it also...but fear something electrical running something so critical...what if a wire were to come loose or something? I dont know...still weighing pros and cons.
