Default Question about VAFC

I gotta question if it would even be worth gettin a v-tec controller, even tho my motor is pretty much stock other than an intake and exhaust. If you got any ideas. Let me know.

Default Re: Question about VAFC (jwallstar)

the VAFC is used to help in tuning your motor to its optimum performance. if you only have intake and exhaust then i don't see the point(unless you want the cool display) i would save the money on the VAFC, wait until the head/block is built and then tune the motor. and i wouldn't even think about using the VAFC. been there done that. ended up selling the VAFC and got the HONDATA S200. there is alot more adjustability with HONDATA.

when your motor has some more work done to it, that's when i would plan on tuning it.

remember this is just my OPINION
