Ok, so i'd like to first say that i know this is a honda form but you guys have always helped me before, are very knowledgeable and always have the right answer... so i figured i'd ask here. I'm going to be purchasing a 3000GT but before i doso i need to find out what this problem is.

Ok so the seller said everything was fine 1 week ago and 2 days later he calls me and tells me that on his way home from work he started the car up and it was sqeaking, but after a few minutes of driving it went away. He thought it was gone till he started the car back up and the sqeaking noise was there again. So he said it's probly the timing belt and he would have it tightened tonight, he called me the next day and said he tightened the belt and the sqeaking went away. Then, jus today he called me today to give me the VIN number so i can get a carfax report and i wasnt home so he left it with my mom and told her to tell me that '' the belt needs to be tightened again ''. So im assuming the car is sqeaking again. So my question is do you guys think he is BS'ing me and just saying its the belt? or you think its true? Is there anything else that the sqeaking could be coming from? he says it only happens when the car is started and it goes away after a few minutes of driving. Now keep in mind that he told me he bought the car 2 months ago and replaced the timing belt and the alternator when he bought it. So what do you all think? I'm going to check out the car tommarow and i just want to know if its something major or not.
