Default question about removing a/c, how much weight reduced?

If I remove the a/c for weight reduction, will my fan still work? also, how much weight will this save me?

yup, fan will still work as long as ou don't go under the dash and take it out. your heat will still work as well. You'd shave about 50 lbs with the condensor, compressor, and lines removed.
